A Fair Option If You're
Paying Out of Pocket
Most patients use Arkansas Medicaid, Medicare, or commercial insurance — and we accept all of those. But we also believe everyone deserves a fair price, so we created what we call the Local Pharmer's Club: our cost-plus pricing program, open to anyone. You pay based on our actual cost, plus one flat fee — no membership required.
How Your Price Is Calculated
A transparent formula applied consistently to every cash prescription we fill.
Why We Call It the Local Pharmer's Club
It's a nod to our name — and to the idea that fair pricing shouldn't be exclusive. There's no membership, no sign-up, and no fee to join. If you think you might be overpaying for a medication, just ask — anyone in the community can get our cost-plus price on the spot.
Think you're overpaying somewhere else?
Because our cost-plus price is based on our real wholesale cost rather than an inflated list price, it's often lower than what you'd pay at a big chain pharmacy or through mail-order services. If you have a price from somewhere else, give us a call — we're happy to see if we can beat it.
Why This Model Works Better
Traditional cash pricing starts from an inflated "list price" and works backward. Cost-plus pricing starts from the truth — and often beats both big-chain cash prices and mail-order pricing as a result.

Insurance & Pricing, Answered
Should I use my insurance or ask for the cost-plus price?
We accept Arkansas Medicaid, most Medicare plans, and most commercial insurance — for most patients, that's the best place to start. Cost-plus pricing is there as a fair fallback if you're uninsured, between plans, or your medication isn't covered.
Is the "flat fee" the same for every medication?
Yes. The fee covers our pharmacists' time, counseling, and dispensing — it doesn't change based on the medication's cost, so expensive and inexpensive prescriptions are priced using the exact same formula.
How do I find out what my medication costs?
Simply bring in your prescription and we'll give you the cost-plus price at the counter. Since our acquisition cost can shift with the market, we price each prescription at the time of fill to make sure you're always getting an accurate number.
Why don't you list prices for specific medications online?
Our cost fluctuates with the wholesale market, sometimes daily. Publishing a price online risks showing you a number that's already outdated by the time you visit — so we price at the counter where we can give you an accurate figure every time.
